About Us - mantis inceptions

mantis inceptions was born out of a necessity due to the situation that I found myself in. With having started working at 14 washing dishes and cleaning ovens at a local supermarket, through to being 54 years old and now unemployed.

54 and UNEMPOLYED

Due to a very unexpected and unfortunate circumstance, I found myself in a very different head space than I have ever been in my life. I did not know how to handle this, so I withdrew into myself and gave way to thoughts that should not have ventured into my mind. But did.

I went looking for something that I did not need to and could not understand the why. It affected both my private and working life.

In the end, my family stood strong. And we won.

FAMILY

Thanks to both my family and close friends, I was able to come out the other side. And it is purely due to that as to why I am here doing what I am doing. Surviving.

I maybe the Grumpy Old Man, but I am the grumpy old man that owes his whole world to his family.

So with that, it is now onward and hopefully upwards.

ONWARD and UPWARDS

So while I sit here on my butt everyday working on both mantis inceptions and mantis.nz learning out more about damn SEO and the workings of Google Merchant Center, Google Search Console and Google Analytics, I am also spending hours doing surveys (yes it is my only source of money currently) to pay all this.

And then I also sit here daily scrolling on employment sites looking for a job so I can get back to being a man and supporting my family again. But it is a hard road. But I will persist.
